Having long, smooth, toned and feminine legs is but every woman’s dream especially in this contemporary time. Every woman regardless of age would find ways and means and would even spend hundreds of dollars to make sure that she will get the legs she always wanted. With beautiful legs, any woman can wear minis and shorts confidently.
However, getting long, smooth, toned and feminine legs need not be very expensive as there are several exercises that can be done at home. This is likewise beneficial to women who do not have time to hit the gym. Do some stretching first before proceeding with any of the routines below. Simple and easy steps toward achieving perfectly beautiful legs!
1. Wall Squats
Stand straight with your back flat on the wall, arms on your waist. First, work on your inner thigh by placing your feet at least 25 inches apart. Simply squat for about 15 seconds then stand up slowly. Repeat this 15 times before working on your outer thigh. For the outer thigh, feet must be 15 inches apart.
2. Leg Side Raise
Stand facing the wall and put your hands against it for balance. Slowly lift your legs to the side. Repeat at least 15-20 times for each legs. This will help your inner thighs to be toned thus, making it look slimmer.
3. Brisk- Walking
Walking is the best exercise for beginners. This is one of the most effective ways to tone your leg muscles. This can be done at least four times a week. Just always remember to hydrate after walking so as to keep your skin healthy and young looking.
4. Jumping
Do a jumping rope routine for a continuous 10 minutes. Breathe. Repeat for at least 4 times. This is also a good cardio work out.
5. Lunge
This is probably the oldest way but one of the most proven to really slim the legs and tone the thigh muscles. Stand with your feet, shoulder apart and put your hands on your waist. With your one foot, take a big step forward. Carefully go down until the back leg is at right angle with the knee. Use your leg muscles to slowly go back to your starting position. Do this for 5 times for each of your leg.
